Hair Accessories

Okay, so I'm by no means done with my books, but I wanted to switch it up and take stock of how much shit I have to stick in my thick, unruly curls. I have an asymmetrical cut, which you can't really tell because my hair just kind of curls and gets big everywhere, but it's longer on one side than it is on the other, and I have to part my hair more to the side and clip it back or else it goes all 80s gigantic on me. Ignore my oversized "Whale of a Time" shirt and messed up hair. It's been a long day and I'm tired.

Hair bows. All from Claire's. I love these cheap little things, and constantly get compliments on them. Just the right amount of glitter for any occasion, I have enough to span the length of my arm.

Glitter roses. I don't wear these as often, but they're also from Claire's. When I do wear these, it's usually nestled next to a bow of a contrasting color.

Large white flower, also from Claire's. I usually wear this one in the sunshine with a flirty little dress. Some of the petals got fucked up, and the delicate fabric still hasn't straightened out. It saddens me.

Dubiously large flower, Claire's strikes again. This thing is huge. I've only worn it out twice. I felt pretty silly each time, so I think I just need bigger hair in order to pull it off, so it doesn't look like it's about to eat my face.

Actual hair pins, from H&M, Urban Outfitters and Claire's. I usually buy these in pairs, and then one breaks or mysteriously vanishes. It's sad, it really is.

PEACOCK HEADBAND I LOVE IT SO MUCH, from Forever 21. I don't wear it super often, because I feel like it's sorta special, but sometimes I just like to look at it. Not so good on windy days.

Pearl headbands in white and silver, from Forever 21. I love these things for when I don't wanna put all the stuff in my hair and fuss with a bow or bobby pin, just toss this shit on and GO. And they look cute when my hair curls over and in between the strands. Those of you paying attention saw the white one yesterday.

So, I used to have super long hair that I would keep in a bun. I bought this neat little hairpin to stick through it for a little bit of fun. Sadly, with my long hair long gone, I have little use for this gem now.

I saved the cutest for last, this is a little comb with a handmade felt cake on top of it! Super adorable, right? An ex of mine bought it for me, a very good memory for me.
